1. Information We Collect
To run the Spil platform, we collect only the essentials:
- Account details: An email and username when registering.
- Impression Stats: To pay out ad revenue to users with over 5,000 Aura and Spil Premium, we track general view impressions on your public feeds.
- Approximate Location: To display posts in the local city or campus channels (Accra Feed, Legon Channel, etc.) without logging your precise address.
2. How Your Identity is Protected
For anonymous messages, our database contains NO linkage records connecting your user account to the specific guest submissions you send to others. Postings in channels are completely separate. Our core RLS (Row Level Security) policies prohibit other users or guests from querying identifying metadata.
3. Ad Revenue & Impression Tracking
For top-tier users participating in the ad revenue sharing program, impression tracking is fully aggregated. We calculate cumulative views to process automated payouts via secure payment gateways to your MoMo numbers. We do not sell or lease this data to advertisers.
4. Content Moderation
We maintain active, AI-assisted community filters. Harassment, threats, and targeted hate speech are completely blocked. If a post gets flagged by multiple community members, it is immediately deleted, and the creator's Aura is instantly deducted.
